Britain’s most famous shepherdess – best-selling author Amanda Owen – is to travel across the UK for More4 to discover other farmers’ inspirational and moving stories in a brand-new series from Wise Owl Films.
Wise Owl Films’ youth offshoot Hoot has today announced its first commission – for the newly-announced Channel 4.0.
Led by Head of Development, Lucy Smith, alongside, Nathalie Mayer and Kariim Case, Hoot has been formed to serve 16-34 year olds across a range of broadcasters and digital channels.
After a successful one-off episode in 2021, Second-Hand For 50 Grand returns to Channel Four for a three-part series, starting Monday, Sept 5th.
Sunday August 21st sees the TX of My Second Hand Home - a competitive Channel Four property format centred around the growing trend of furnishing our homes with pre-loved and upcycled goods.
The 1x60 minute show sees two first time buyer households in Wales and Northumberland go head-to-head over four weeks to see who can furnish their home in style for the least amount of money. And whoever does the best job wins all the cash back they’ve spent on second hand goods.
Presented by Sabrina Grant, the show comes full of tips for anyone wanting to bag a bargain for their home.
Airing on E4 and All 4 before the final episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine on 8th June, this 1x60’ special rejoices in the show’s very best moments and explores what turned it into a much-loved staple on our screens.
Across the hour we’ll hear from the show’s key cast including, Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz and Joe Lo Truglio alongside Dan Goor (co-creator/executive producer), Dan Marocco (composer of the show’s comedic-action score) and Craig Robinson, who plays recurring character Doug Judy.
