Wise Owl Films is a new, Leeds-based, factual indie run by a team of award-winning programme makers. We are looking for a Development Intern to support us in the growth of our new company.
We have produced programmes with - and about - some of the best loved names in popular culture – from Peter Kay to David Walliams, Elvis Presley to Elton John and make TV shows embracing social history, popular culture and untold stories - from the everyday to the extraordinary.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone beginning their career in TV to work as part of a fresh and forward thinking company. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player with a good sense of humour and a love of factual programmes. This is a very varied job and will provide the role holder with an abundance of TV production experience and transferable skills. Candidates will be confident in carrying out research, have some experience in shooting on FS7 or C300 and ideally be able to edit. Other tasks will include assisting with development related tasks, producing presentations by using PowerPoint and Photoshop and assisting in general day-to-day office duties.
N.B - A full clean driving licence is essential for this role
