Kay is Production Executive at Wise Owl Films, where she helps shape and deliver the company’s slate of distinctive factual and factual entertainment programmes.

Her work spans music documentaries, authored films and access-led series, including BBC’s celebrated When… Came to Britain music documentary strand, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids (More4), The Brontës: Sisters of Disruption (Sky Arts) and Hacienda - The Club That Shook Britain (BBC Two). Bringing together editorial judgement and production expertise, Kay is known for guiding ambitious ideas from concept through to successful delivery.

Before joining Wise Owl, Kay spent 15 years at ITV working on some of the UK’s biggest entertainment shows, from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! to Saturday Night Takeaway and Loose Women. She later moved into Production Executive roles at Shiver and Workerbee, overseeing a wide range of factual and documentary commissions for UK and international broadcasters and streaming platforms.

Alongside Wise Owl, Kay also oversees Lime Pictures’ BAFTA-winning digital output, keeping her closely connected to how audiences engage with content beyond broadcast.
